So as you may already know I never know where I'll end up from day to day with this camera. On Saturday March 24, 2012 I found myself at the MLK Center in Long Beach, NY. I was invited by my brother, James Hodge. So once the play started the first thing I noticed was the set. It was quite impressive for a local play and not having a hefty ticket price. e was plenty of local talent in the cast, our young folks need a venue like this to showcase their gifts. You may recognize some of these names: Tekorah Page, Akilah Thompson, Lakisha Baum, Joshua Reese, Otis Becoat, and Deborah Anita Snowden the very capable Praise Dancer. I would say this if you hear about this play coming near you get your tickets it will be money well spent. One more thing the playwright/director is named Antenia Simmons I'm sure you'll be hearing the name again.. Peace until the next blog...
